The famous Dutch painters Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (July 15, 1606 – October 4, 1669) and Vincent Willem Van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) are both famous painters who are known to have done most of their painting on hemp based canvas.
